ARRIVING - KLIA @ 31st December 2050 (msian time) <-- omg 3hrs before new year. -wonders if i can collect baggage out of KLIA, dump stuff at uncle's house and head straight out to party in 3hrs. ANYONE FREE ON THE 31ST? XD-

Staying for a month or so. Itinerary not yet decided

ARRIVING - Sydney International @ 1st February 1955 (aust time)

Alright guys! It's time you heard from your regular DX-blog poster again.

Well, just an update, exams have FINALLY finished for me, and now I have a 4 month holiday to really do what I WANT to do. And one of them is to get back on audiSEA and start playing again. But with that said, I won't be playing 24/7, I still wanna do alot these next 4 months including: DANCE CLASS [ starting this wed! cant wait lol ]

Okay just an update with the guild blog:
It's well under progression. If I have a free day next week I'll just spend the whole day fixing it up and working on it. So most likely Project: Version 2.0 will be finished pretty soon =) Expect it!

To all you O'levelers:
I know you're almost done, I think. If you've finished, CONGRATS! You deserve a WELL-EARNED break. To those almost at the end, don't phase out. Keep at it. The end feels even sweeter when you know you've worked your ass off for it. Don't slack too much, but with that said, doing 10hr study sessions is ridiculous. You need balance =)

PS. Those that know about my overseas trip: I'm expected to leave around Christmas time, im spending new year at KL, then I'll be floating around KL, penang and sg in 1 week blocks. I'm staying for about a month to a month and a half. I'll keep you posted.

GIVING BACK TO OUR WORLD

Well, I was reading through a magazine while having a coffee today and I found something really interesting that I'd like all of you to try.

It's called "FreeRice" and it's found at http://www.freerice.com/

Basically, the concept is this. In the site, there's a small multiple choice vocabulary quiz that asks for meanings of words. For every question correctly answered, the company gives 20 grains of rice to third-world countries. Money is raised by sponsors, which can be seen at the bottom of the page.

Essentially, this is a two-step program.
1. It improves your vocabulary and your English.
2. It allows you to be a global citizen and contribute to the issues in our precious world.

It took me 5mins to donate around 1000 grains of rice and it's really simple and rewarding. It isn't very strenuous and the layout is simple to follow and understand.

MERGING OF TESTER GROUPS

Well, just a small thing we've decided to change ~~

Instead of two different testers [ novice / free ], there's going to be a merging, meaning there's only "TESTERS" from now on. This reduces the need for novice testers having to be lvl 10 or below.

And please welcome our new tester: -DX-Snowy-x3 who will be replacing -DX-CHILD (since CICAK IS SO LAZY!!)

Heyy heyy ~ hope everyone's been watching Olympics like crazy like I have! XD ahaha

Aaanyway, I've been talking to a few people lately, and I've noticed it too, but we seem to have ALOT of inactive people in the management (ie. the testers especially and our somehow no longer active vice-president).

And I know there's a few people that want to become tester / want to be part of all this, but are unable to do so because people are taking their spots and arent doing much! =O!

So I'm proposing we do a reshuffle of the management. Get those that are inactive or who don't really want to do testing / management to step down, so that others who want to can give it a shot XD

Any discussions just chuck them in the c-box I'll take a read =D

WHAT'S THE ISSUE..?

To all DX'ers,

Let me clarify to everyone the reason I joined DX back a few weeks after its foundation. I saw a guild that was friendly, had alot of different people with different perspectives, they came from different backgrounds - but the one thing that united them all was their sincerity, genuine character and kindness. From that point on, I decided to leave -SB-, come here and hope to make genuine friends.

Now for the last few months I've been going about my business under that impression. Obviously things are not the case, and it's evident with the sudden leaving of nine people.

From pure murmuring's this is the SECOND, if not THIRD time I have heard of "some bastard in DX is causing me problems". Five people have left saying they have "personal reasons" and others in the past have just left without saying a word.

It pains ME to see the values which we upheld be undermined because of someone. It pains ME even more to see DX suddenly become like this. But most of all it pains ME that all this has been happening without me having any idea about it.

I've heard disgruntled murmurings, but that was the most I was given.

Let me ask you all.
What was your reason for joining our guild?
What did you see in it?
What did you envision for the future?

Is DX not meeting your expectations? Is there someone letting the whole group down?

For someone who has become quickly attached to DX, it isn't easy for me to watch this. It's even harder for dolly, who isn't able to do anything because she has no computer. Every few days I call her to give her updates on the latest happenings, and so what am I supposed to tell her this next round? "Oh..yeah, and 9 DX members left in the last few days because of issues even I had no idea were going on...". It's unfair to her.

Okay, fair enough, you might be thinking I take it all too seriously. Maybe I do. I just feel ripped off = =;;

So I emplore you all, get to know each other. You'll find there's alot more to this guild than just playing audiSEA. It's much more than just that.
If you have issues, work it out amongst yourselves. Everyone has issues, and neither DOLLY and I have the right eavesdrop on everything that happens. She said to me herself, "I just want everyone to get along and be happy".

Can we do this DX? That's the question I'm leaving with you.

To those that are leaving, thanks so so much for joining ^.^ It's been a pleasure having you on board the DX-boat. I'm sure everyone feels the same waay. I've always wanted to give each of you a personal message, but never had to chance to, so I'm doing it now:

BoBo ~~ thanks for everything. Really. You've helped so much with the guild, helped dolly find a direction for the guild, and just been an overall top-notch marmie!! <3~ Everyone's gna miss you

LIME/ZANY/HONEY ~~ omg you change names more frequently than I change underwear (JOKE!! dont take that seriously RAWR). I'm a regular reader of your blog, so thank me for those blog counts LOL! But yeah, you my friend, I'll remember you as the crazy one. Dunno why, you always left me with the impression that you were all happy / jumpy / cheery all the time ~

Have u ever wonder y problems in -DX- never stop?

U can say one of these reasons are :

People in -DX- Quarrel with each other.
When an outsider make problems of us,we blame each other.
People think its their fault that -DX- got problems,thats y they leave.

Why we keep quarrel with each other and in the end the one who quarrel leaves?
There is only 1 answer to this : ITS BECAUSE WE CANNOT UNIT AS 1.

Other guilds can unit as 1 so can we!!

There's a meeting for all you testers this coming SATURDAY, 8pm, Free 10. It's really short notice I know, but there's a couple things that need to be discussed =] Please try and be there. It won't be for long (at most 30mins).

NEW DX HOUSE PURCHASED~!!

Well, just as the title says, the new DX House has finally been purchased, meaning our guild intake has increased from ten people to thirty people! All of you who are interested in joining the FAM guild now are free to do so.

But as with everything, there is a "HOWEVER". And even with our FAM, this is no exception.

Rules for joining in the next batch of twenty:

1. Must be able to donate 500k upon entrance.
2. Must be active.

The reason for this is that we're already starting to raise money for the 50 slot house (50mil). It's no easy task, but we have to keep persisting ! ^^

Hmm, activities have been pretty low in DX lately. And everything's started to become really dull and all. So BoBo was suggesting we should have more events. Maybe a weekly thing? And it doesn't have to be purely in audition either.

Current Event Ideas:
- skype (very simple, looots of fun)
- ingame audi events (someone has to buy event thing right? ><) - webcamming? Actually I had a really really good idea, but I'm not sure how many of you are interested. Just an idea.. We can have our own little in-guild competition. What does this involve?
Well, now's a time to show off a nifty tricky you have. Or some skill you're really proud of. Or a really strange habit.

How? Get a video camera, record yourself, and upload on youtube / megaupload annd spread around!

Since I've already posted up a couple clips of some choreography I've done, now it's your turn to show off something you're proud of! Your aim is to outdo the other members of DX.

If you think you don't have any talent at all, I beg to differ.
- Van could probably just videotape herself giving off the biggest "meow" ever. It'd be cool =]
- Low could tell us how he keeps his hair silky smooth and combed over (lol jokin jokin! ^^; its just your pic in the guestbook, your hair's so nicely combed)
- Sasya can...gosh, SS, what talent do you have?

Okay, just an initial thought on time so far. How does:

8:00pm START (MSIA / SG time) on Sunday, 1st June

sound for everyone? I'm located in Australia, so that makes it around 10pm my time which is still okay.

If no one's against that, that'll just be starting time. This isn't like some official "conference" or anything, so really, a strict starting time shouldn't be upheld at all. Just gives a rough indication on when abouts at least.

Those that can't attend due to a busy schedule, that's okaaay. However, for those that don't want to because they feel insecure or unconfident about this whole thing, be assured. DONT BE! I just want to try something and see how this progresses. Hopefully alot of positive things will come out of it ^__^ Just come and join in the fun! Think of it as a guild event outside of audi =p

If it's possible, let others in the guild know about it, especially if they never check the blog.

A CHANCE TO MEET EVERYONE!

Heyy guys. Well as we all know, DX has been up and strong for a couple months now (I'm not too sure on the exact times and all ~ but it's been a while now!). But one thing I've noticed among the guild is the lack of a:

close and tight-knit community

There are the members that we always see on the blog or ingame. But alot of other members don't feel this sense of "homeliness" that we do. We often never hear from them, but all we know is that they're in DX. So in that respect, for the next month or two I'm really going to be pushing for everyone to try and get to know each other.

How, you ask? Simple as this. I'm planning (not too sure on the exact details) on a

HUGE SKYPE CONFERENCE for everyone in DX

This is a great great way for everyone to get to know each other and just have a chat about life in general. Make new friends, learn about each other, maybe even find that special someone *nudge nudge* The proposed date so far is:
